Ram Sam Sam

Literacy Tip

Hello, I’m Andrea. This is a great nonsense song to play with sounds and movement!
Singing silly songs together is not only fun it helps to develop a child’s understanding of sounds in language. Combining words with movement helps grow connections in a child’s brain too! Who knew serious learning could be so much fun?!

  • Great educational video! Love the gal who narrates. She makes me want to do this with my child.

  • I love this rhyme. I am currently doing a Chinese/English bilingual story time at my library. I can use this rhyme and not worry about the language issue and just have fun with kids making different sounds and movements.
